The moniker Bizmo comes from a combination of the words business & money. Since childhood, Bizmo knew that he was destined to be an entertainer and set on a course to make a name for himself. At a young age, he took great pride in entertaining his friends and family.
Born and raised in St Thomas, Jamaica, he spent most of his childhood years growing up in St Andrew, with his Dad and siblings.
In 1998, Bizmo and his family migrated to Canada. In that same year, Bizmo began to perform his self-written songs.
When he arrived to Canada, he started to perform at many different venues and stages. It was at these performances that Bizmo began receiving the exposure to a vibrant public that convinced him of his future success as a performer. He has performed in concert with a variety of artists including: Bounty Killer, Baby Cham, Wayne Wonder, Madd Cobra, Turbulence, Power Man, and I-Wayne, just to name a few.
Bizmo is still building a name for himself in the music industry today.
Since becoming an artist, he has branched out from behind the microphone to the producer's chair where he is able to free his creativity. Today he is well known as the founder and owner of iHouse Records, which produces tracks for mainstream and underground artists locally and abroad. Bizmo has produced for Jamaican Reggae artists including Blak Rhyno, Lexxus, Power Man, Deva Bratt, Louie Rankin, Anthony Malvo, Chi Chi Ching, Navino and Chase Crose. He has also produced many tracks for himself which can be found on all streaming platforms.
While performing at a venue in Toronto, Bizmo was introduced to Louie Rankin aka Teddy Bruk shut from the cult classics “Shottas” and “Belly”. He has written and produced several songs for Louie including "Keep it Moving", Gett'n Money, and “Weh Dem Ah Guh Duh”.
Bizmo has made several television appearances including the Fox Network, not to mention, a special appearance on MuchMusic with Drake and P Reign for the video “In the Hood”, plus appearances and interviews on radio stations including G98.7 FM, 93.5 The Move and 102.7 FM.
Bizmo made his acting debut in the film “We Run These Streets”, set in Toronto. Bizmo plays a character named "Dramatic", who is a rash & impulsive gangster. He’s created quite a buzz within Toronto.
With experience and exposure to the entertainment world, he shows no signs of slowing down. He continues to add even more accolades to his repertoire, from being an artist, producer, actor and songwriter. Bizmo began signing artists.
Bizmo surprised even himself when he created the screenplay "Small World", which was filmed, edited and produced by iHouse Records. In 2017, "Small World" premiered in theatres to a sold-out audience at the Rainbow Cinemas, with amazing feedback from movie goers who certified "Small World" a hit.
When asked what’s next for Bizmo and iHouse Records, he was quick to let it be known that he is currently working on his new film, set to be released in theatre in 2022 and he will continue to churn out bangers for his loyal and waiting fans.
